OVERSIEW OF COLLEGE OF CHINESE&ASEAN ARTS
College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts consists of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Faculty of Music, Dance and Faculty of Film and Animation and School of International Education, Art Practice Center, Sichuan Animation Research Center and Sichuan Province ACG Collaborative Innovation Center. Qualified in undergraduate and postgraduate educational levels, the college covers music, dance, fine arts, design, animation, film and television together with some other disciplines, among which animation is the national characteristic specialty.
The college has an outstanding faculty. Currently the college has more than 160 teaching staff, including more than 20 full-time professors, more than 30 associate professors, 5 specially invited researchers and associate researchers. Among the teaching staff, there are two experts enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, one actor at national firstlevel and one expert with outstanding contribution in Sichuan Province. The first president is Mr. Yu Junjian, the famous singer once working in General Political Department Song-and-dance Troupe, and the former director of China Federation of Arts and literature Performing Arts Center. More than 80 famous artists and art educators will act as faculty consultants, academic committees and guest professors, such as FengJicai, CaidanZhuoma, Wang Xiaotang, Wang Cizhao, BaiShuxiang, Feng Yuan, Liu Dawei, XuPeidong, Han Meilin, Pan Gongkai, Qu Cong, PengJixiang, Yin Xiumei, Zuo Qing and so on.
In recent years, the college has been taking more than 10 National Social Science Fund projects and National Social Science Art Fund projects, more than 20 projects at ministerial and provincial level, published thousands of papers (works) and articles (pieces), edited or composed more than 50 books and textbooks, and have been awarded more than 40 national and provincial prizes.

Chengdu ASEAN Arts Scholarship
The scholarship is used for subsidize for students’ accommodation, insurance and living expense.

Undergraduate program | Below 35 | Senior middle school education with decent grades，willing to abide by Chinese law , the regulations of Chengdu University and respect Chinese social customs.
